just a fork in the road. muay thai til i die.

well, i have a belt test next week, finally gonna get a new belt again,,, from brown to half brown/half black. *knock on wood*. the material this time around is TOUGH. the muay thai is long, annnnd, a burner. wicked. i havent typed a muay thai form out in a bit so heeeeeere we go....
drop level to left/pop up/left hook-right cross-left hook....drop level to
right/pop up/right cross-left hook-right cross...switch step left
roundhouse/straight right... plum clinch/right knee-switch step left knee....
turn 180 degrees while still holding clinch/ right knee- switch step left knee..
push off....right round-house... jab/cross...flying right downward "spike"
elbow.
repeat this process over and over at full power on some thai pads.
gettin alllll van damme n shit.
LOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE this muay thai.
i am so happy i have this stuff in my life. i am SOOOOOO less stressy. ummm, usually.
above and beyond the muay thai, we worked our sparring kick defenses. checking kicks is big when facing mofos like cookie puss who enjoy battering your legs. thighs. ribs. etc.
we also worked getting out of the way of mid kicks and head kicks. repeating the process over and over til its instinct.
or, you get kicked there.
ooops.
our krav maga this cycle was knife defences. inside, out side, overhand, shit any angle someones gonna try and shank you from.
body conditioning went arms, legs, core... this cycle. reps of exercises escalate according to belt color.
finally, theres a new school opening in Colchester. Mr Hesser is opening a sister school there, and since i live closer to there it is a great fit. add on top of that that jaiden and cooper will be in the same class , so rach will cutting her hanging in the dojo with little kids who wanna run rampant time in half, it's really great deal for us, not alot of things get EASIER as we add to our growing family, and i'd like to thank Master McShane and Mr Hesser for doingthis for us.
same material... new school. the boys and i are excited.
i'm going to miss my Norwich ABD familia, but at the same time, its going to be cool to start with that school right off the bat. i will still kick it at Norwich from time to time, for sure, especially trying to get there on some saturdays for sparring.
with it being closer to hartford, i have a feeling the schools gonna blow up quick, and fill up , so thats gonna be cool to watch happen. if anyone who reads this lives anywhere near Colchester and has any interest in muay thai/kickboxing/krav maga drop me a message and i'll answer any questions you have, or just contact Mr Hesser @ some # i dont have at this minute , i'll add it in later or someshit.
